Bloggers and others who repost images need to be aware of copyright restrictions on the works that the are using. Going through the Creative Commons site insures that you are in compliance with copyright laws and not misusing other people's intellectual property. There is plenty of great stuff available to use this way!

Thing 4 -- Pinterest
I love Pinterest for so many things. I not only find great ideas there, but since I re-pin them to my own boards, I can actually find them again when I need them! Below are some of the boards that I follow that are related to school.
I could spend hours and hours looking at Pinterest. And sometimes, I do!

Thing 2 -- Feedly
The second of the 23 Things is learning to use Feedly to organize your blog and website reading. I have never really used a blog reader before, preferring to just get updates in my email. I realized as I learned about it that Feedly would be perfect to use for keeping track of all of the challenge blogs that I like to play along with for my card-making. That way, the newest challenges would always be on top, and I would not have to go searching for them in my email, or try to remember which days which challenges were posted on. I've only just started using it, but this seems to be working out pretty well!

Welcome to my 23 Things Blog
Hello and welcome to my 23 Things blog! As the Lower School Librarian, I am super excited to be both helping lead the 23 Things project, and learning right along with everyone as well. While I am familiar with some of the websites and software that we will be learning about, there are some that I have never tried, and others that I am looking forward to getting to know better. I have never used Blogger before, but I do have two other blogs using Wordpress. One is my Children's Book Blog and the other is my Rubber Stamping Blog. You can keep an eye on this blog as we progress through the Things together over the next 10 weeks.
